An alternative to traditional countertop steamers, the Panasonic NE-3280 commercial steamer microwave holds two full-size, 4-inch-tall pans. It has two levels, though the center shelf can be removed to accommodate taller pans, and this unit does not need to be placed under a hood ventilation system. It is connectionless, meaning it does not require hookup to a water line or have a reservoir, and steam in the unit is generated from moisture within the food when it is heated by magnetrons.

This Panasonic NE-3280 countertop steamer microwave has 5 power levels, 3-stage cooking capabilities, and a programmable 16-recipe memory, operating with a digital display and tracking the cooking process with a dial timer.
